I would prefer a flat-fee for the whole series. It has the advantage
of reducing what has to be managed about the trials, too; less stuff to
keep track of each week, fewer money transactions, etc. How about $15
for members and students, $20 for non-members? Otherwise, keep the
same prices for "daily passes". I like under-18 for free. Maybe we
should pay anyone under 13 who rides it a buck? ;-)

Well, looking now is good, but if we're still using "years" when we
talk about when they'll get installed, it doesn't seem too pressing.
Yet. Maybe folks could propose candidates, and a series of ___day TT
course tryout rides could be arranged?

If it was only $50, I'd probably buy one. I think my running club in
MI had a lifetime membership, but it was more like $300. Of course,
members tended to be around for decades.
Shirts shouldn't be included; or water bottles, in perpetuity. I would
be inclined to include those in a first-time membership, but then have
a lower renewal rate that doesn't include swag.
Just two-hundredths of a dollar's worth of opinions.
