BVC-CHAT Travelling cyclists coming to town

Hi y'all

I received an e-mail from Kristine Petterson; she and her partner are travelling by bike through our town in a couple of weeks.  I've offered our hut for them to stay while they are here.  Kristine spent part of her childhood here back in the 70's (I've warned her that the place may be a little bigger now).  Right now they are in Lafayette.

She is a singer/songwriter, as well (see http://cdbaby.com/cd/kpettersen ) and would love to play somewhere.  She has been unable to reach any of the usual campus groups due to the holidays, so hasn't set anything up, but is open to ideas and suggestions.  We talked on her phone and she said she'd be glad to meet other cyclists who are interested in their trip.  Perhaps a pot-luck dinner one evening or similar?

They plan to be in town 1/21 - 1/23.
