BVC-CHAT Re: BVC fork to borrow?

If Valley Cyclery is still open, they had a box full of old forks they were selling for $5. Worth a try.

  i know this is a huge favor to ask, but does anyone have an extra road or cyclocross 1 1/8 threadless fork to borrow?  I'd do all the work (taking it off a bike if i have to etc) before and after.  you would have it to ride mon afternoon at the latest.   the fork on my trek broke and i am without a race bike.
