As keeper of the BVC $, the proposed costs $40 -120 seem excessive for a likely one time use. Would not a full color enlarged print, laminated and pasted/taped to Hobby Lobby foam board be adequate for the parade. Since I am out of town that weekend and cannot spend the time to procure said items my opinion is hereby valued at 2 cents.

I emailed the logo to Signs Now to get a quote. For a 30" x 30" coryx sign
(plastic posterboard that is similar in construction to cardboard, will last
about 1 year of continuous outside duty), with the dillo T-shirt logo
printed on 1 side would be $120. Proof is attached. Cost is high because of
the multi-colored image and graphics conversion.

A cheaper alternative would be to print the words Brazos Valley Cyclists on
28" x 22" Corx (quote of $30-40); I'm advocating using Corx because it's
hard to bend and will stand up to water.

JM has a 24"x36" (approx) laminated BVC "bug" sign we can use if the quotes
seems too high; JM, does that sign have the words Brazos Valley Cyclists
spelled out (required for the parade)?

All,

Any objections to me using the T-shirt "dillo" design (as pulled off the
Other news section of the BVC web site) for our Holiday Parade entry sign? I
was planning on having Signs now or someone like that print up the logo pic
onto a 30" x 30" waterproof posterboard.
