This is to thank you and your fellow riders for setting up Roelof's page
and the regular updates.

I am the chairman of the Department of Civil Engineering at the Rand
Afrikaans University (RAU) in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Roelof
graduated as civil engineer in 1989.  His memories are still very much
alive at his alma mater - he had an incredible intellect and left large
footprints.  Your site was the only way in which we could follow his
news, other than calling his father or mother in Johannesburg.

Your love and devotion to Roelof and Loela were exceptional.  Please
record our appreciation as erstwhile teachers, colleagues and friends of
Roelof, and pass this message on to your fellow riders and contributors
to his website.
