It will.  And hopefully with 10 minutes I can do my best to
get these ideas across:

1) Wear a helmet
2) Ride WITH traffic, a bike is a VEHICLE, although a slow moving one
3) use LIGHTS/reflectors at night
4) Ride in the street/bike lane not on the sidewalk (see 2)
5) Use hand signals and obey traffic rules (see 2)
