I say, let him ride all he wants to. He's earned the right to retire and unretire whenever he damn well pleases. Ride on--especially if it will piss of a few million Frogs! If they want to be pissed about something, maybe they should start being pissed about how they've never won a war or how they smell like, well, piss. They could start bathing and "move on" from something besides hounding Lance and try something such as bathing or shaving their legs and armpits ....
