I like Layne's suggestion, let Lance ride support and
thus take more of the heat off of himself with regard
to the glare of the French sport tabloid media. 

However, I agree also with Layne that that won't suit
his comeback plans. Come back as a support rider?
Riiiiiiiight. But who knows a kinder, gentler
now-engaged Lance might emerge.
