BVC-CHAT Monday Social Ride/More

We are planning on a Monday Social Ride tonight.  6:30 pm at
TAMUs Research Park.  Please have a HELMET, HEADLIGHT, TAILLIGHT.
It is getting dark earlier.   I'm going to be doing the short
14-15 mile route.  Also please have a flat change kit!

I will be gone next Monday.  I'm headed out to Cyclefest in Fort Davis
for a vacation over a 4 day weekend.  I am quite certain that the hardy
regulars of the Social Ride will be able to carry on without me.

We have some minor delays with jersey art work/sponsor logos
(will be resolved soon) and so I am anticipating a delay in when
we receive them (that was supposed to be Real Soon Now -- as
in within the next week or two).

We will schedule a formal BVC-Jersey Distribution meeting when
we get the jerseys.

Meanwhile would it be of value to have a business meeting
sooner?  I am thinking of that we may want to do some work
on are to keep momentum going for Bike to Work Day.  Also,
if Lisa (or any one else) has any thing on possibly doing
a bikes for Katrina refugees, this'd give us an opportunity
to mobilize some on that.

Also, summer is winding down -- lots of people put lots of effort into
making sure there are fun summer cycling activities.  Please thank
Willie Allen and all the timers for the Wednesday Time Trial --
Gina Hokanson, Laura Kennedy, Lenae Huebner, and anyone I forgot.

I'm also very happy to have been invited to the BVMBA time trials
this summer -- that was a lot of fun.  Kudos to BVMBA officers
and Ali Wilkerson on that.  

I'm sure I'm forgetting to thank someone here.  Help me out and
remind me, please ... so I don't remember in a day or two and feel
Real Stupid.
