BVC-CHAT Sunday Ride

Chris & Willie,

Do you have room for a newbie?

How far & what kind of pace?

I have been planning to come out for the Flagpole, but don't think I quite
have the endurance for 55 miles yet. I'm currently riding a little over 2
hours (with no breaks) and averaging consistently over 17mph (over 18mph on
a good day) riding solo with numerous hills. I would say that I can
probably sustain something in the low to mid 20mph range solo, no wind, no
grade. I would love to come ride with you guys, but don't want to hold you
up. Let me know.

Also, I haven't put together a flat-kit. I have some patches, but no spare
tube. On the off-chance I would need one, would one of you be able to bail
me out?

Anything else a newbie should bring (besides plenty of liquid)?

Thanks,

Thom Pomeroy

Willie and I are tentatively planning to ride a couple of hours around
5pm on Sunday for those interested in a later ride.
