[BVC-CHAT] TT Results for 2008/07/02

Conditions:  With temps
in the low 90's and Maria was mildly subdued since the winds were only 9.2 mph
out of the South.  



Cliff Latham, the owner of Fitness Together and Elements Therapeutic Massage, and Deborah Boevers
the Director of Operations at Elements have donated
over $400 of massage services to the BVC Summer TT series. Cliff writes a

This week’s winners of a 55 minutes massage are Bob
Van Brunt and Jennifer Peterson. 

 

Bob is the fastest rider
with a titanium hip replacement in the Brazos valley and was recently featured and
pictured on the front page of the Eagle for doing his green duty by bike
commuting to work for the last 15 years. The article was centered on how local
residents are successfully avoiding paying the $4.00 per gallon gas prices. Bob
has participated and supported the TTseries for several years. As he has done
in past years, Bob has provided over $100 in free food coupons good at his Hot
Dogs Etc. eatery in Bryan. 

 

 Jennifer recently competed in her first
Ironman Triathalon in Coeur d’Alene and finished 19th in her age
division with a overall time of 12:31:25. Her bike leg (112.4 miles at an
average of 16.7 mph) was completed in 6:42:10. 

 

Congrats go out to former
massage winner Efrian Lopez who set a new Seasonal Course Record (SCR) of 29:17

.
