[BVC-CHAT] Dr. John Tanner's cycling accident last Saturday on 2818

This is all unofficial, not heard from me-because I heard it through other
possible unreliable sources.

Co-worker saw this accident happen. He had a helmet on. He just decided he
was going to make a left turn apparently and when changing to the center
lane, was hit at high speed. The speed limit on that stretch is 50- so it is
easy to imagine someone going 70. He was thrown far, landed on his leg or
something then hit his head. His helmet either flew off (maybe it was not on
tight enough)- or it cracked on the way down. He is probably going to be in
ICU a little longer. He is apparently a miracle case. Only time shall tell.
He broke a few things, do not remember what. And he is apparently a visiting
professor from LA (the state)-in the business school. Maybe if you know of
anyone that works at Mays, you can find out more specifics from them.
